Who runs Hey Claudine

Hey Claudine is a tech help blog, with a video channel on the way. It’s mine. I’m Claudine Land.

Reading and asking here cost you nothing. No course, no membership, and no service. So you won’t sign a contract or pay for anything here.

What happens to your question, name, and email

When you send a question, the form collects three things: your first name, your email, and your question. That’s all it asks for. There’s no phone number and no age.

Where it’s stored. What you send goes into my HighLevel account. HighLevel, also called GoHighLevel, is a CRM. A CRM is a contact database, the place a business keeps track of the people it hears from. HighLevel stores your details for me, under its own privacy policy.

What I use it for. I read your question and consider it for a future post or video. The questions people send are how I decide what to answer next.

If you send a question, the pages you viewed on this visit are added to your record.

I also use your email to send you one message confirming your question arrived.

Your question can become a public post. If I answer it, your question may become the topic of a post or video on this site.

Seeing, fixing, or deleting your information. You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you. You can also ask me to correct it or delete it. Send the request through the question form and say what you’d like done.

What the site records when you visit

The site sets one cookie of its own. It’s called __vibe_sid. It’s a visit ID that expires after about 30 minutes.

That cookie comes from AI Studio, the platform this site is built on. It records which pages you view and how long you spend on each.

From that, I can see where visits come from, which devices they use, and their approximate location. I can also see their IP address. That’s the number your internet connection uses to reach a website.

No advertising or retargeting trackers load on this site. Retargeting is what makes an ad follow you around the internet after you visit somewhere.

The question form sends what you type to HighLevel, as described in what happens to your question.

To control cookies, use your browser’s settings. You can block or delete cookies there.

GoHighLevel links in some posts earn me a commission

Some posts link to GoHighLevel with a referral link. If you sign up for GoHighLevel through one of those links, I may earn a commission.

That’s worth knowing before you weigh what I say about a tool. So every post that uses the link tells you right beside it, before you get to the link. This section is the longer version.

I only use the link in posts where GoHighLevel is the subject. It’s the only referral link on the site.

Accessibility: what’s built in, and how to tell me about a barrier

Hey Claudine aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. That’s Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. Accessibility is ongoing work, not something I finish once.

This site is built for brains that want one thing at a time. Here’s what’s in place:

  • High-contrast text.
  • Headings that tell you what’s coming.
  • Short paragraphs.
  • Step numbers you can spot at a glance.
  • No video that plays by itself, and nothing moving that you can’t pause.
  • Built for your phone first.
  • An accessibility menu on every page.

If something on the site gets in your way, tell me through the question form. Say which page you were on and what stopped you.

Children’s privacy and COPPA

Hey Claudine is for business owners. It isn’t directed at children under 13.

The US law that covers children’s information online is COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. The question form asks for no age and nothing about a child.

Think a child under 13 has sent a question? If you’re their parent or guardian, ask for it to be deleted through the question form.

Other sites and services this one uses

This site runs on AI Studio, HighLevel’s site builder. AI Studio hosts the pages and counts the visits. HighLevel stores what you send through the question form. Each of them works under its own privacy policy.

Posts also link to other sites, including GoHighLevel through the referral link. I’m not responsible for what those sites say, or for what they do with your information.

Tutorials are general help, and screens change

Everything here is general help for setting things up in your own accounts.

Software companies change their screens, settings, features, and prices without asking anyone. If a post doesn’t match what you’re looking at, the tool may have moved things. Check the tool itself before you rely on a price you read here.

A price you read here is information, not an offer from me.

Terms for using this site

By using this site, you accept what’s on this page.

The posts, images, and videos here belong to Claudine Land. Please don’t republish them wholesale.

When you send a question, you’re letting me use it as the topic of a public post or video. That use follows what happens to your question.

This page may change. The date at the top shows when it last did.

Questions about privacy, deletion, or anything on this page

Ask me through the same form you’d use for a tech question. It covers privacy, deleting your information, accessibility, and the referral link.
